“Susan Geib is more than just a writer to us – she is our strategic partner. She listens and responds to our needs and provides creative solutions to help us achieve our messaging objectives. We have worked with Susan on our annual report since 1998, and as Stryker has grown and changed significantly over that time, she has grown and changed with us.”

“I've rarely worked with someone of Susan Geib's caliber in terms of creativity, insightfulness, and ability to deliver exactly what we wanted to accomplish. Susan helped us recast our MBA Program marketing materials, quickly understanding our goals and capturing the subtle nuances that made the project sing. She pushed us, too, to be clear about our strategy and the necessary tradeoffs. The results were outstanding, and I work with Susan every chance I get.”

“I credit our tremendously successful new generation of admissions publications and web site largely to our collaboration with Susan Geib. She asked the right questions and was able to tease out the stories that best convey the authentic spirit of the Holy Cross experience, particularly the meaning and importance of the Jesuit nature of the College. Thanks to Susan, we have a consistent, compelling voice in both print and electronic media.”

“In developing Puget Sound’s viewbook, Susan Geib set the standard for writers. She immediately understood our culture and was able to identify and collect evidence for characteristics that distinguish us from other liberal arts colleges. Her interview technique is outstanding; she asks the right questions and gets clear, uncoached answers in return.”

“I’d like to thank you immensely for the outstanding work you did – as always – on the liberal arts brochure. It is a pleasure to work with someone who totally ‘gets’ it, who knows exactly what to say and how to say it, especially in the case of something as abstract as liberal arts.”

New Work, More Kudos for Holy Cross
Susan Geib assisted Holy Cross with the development of a comprehensive new web site ( www.holycross.edu), the latest milestone in a major communications initiative by the college. Susan brought her experience from developing print materials in earlier phases of the initiative to the web project to help ensure integrated, consistent messaging across media. She provided content development and planning services to Holy Cross and site developer BigBad, Inc., and wrote new top-level copy.
As the new web site was nearing completion, higher education professional organizations recognized publications Susan planned and wrote for Holy Cross with multiple awards. “In Our Community,” a fresh approach to diversity communications, won Gold awards from both CASE District I and the Admissions Advertising Awards. An ad adapted from this publication for The New York Times Magazine also captured a CASE Gold, and a full-page, national edition New York Times ad celebrating Holy Cross’ three recent MacArthur Fellows received a CASE Silver. Earlier, Susan’s viewbook for Holy Cross won a CASE Gold.
