It began with a hunch. Susan Geib saw the need for a writer who could help organizations reach their constituents with persuasive messages grounded in both strategy and creativity. And she thought her background in marketing communications, advertising, business development, and academia contained just the right mix. To test her idea, she started Written Work. That was in 1990, and she has never looked back. |

Before founding Written Work, Susan was director of new business development at Heller Breene Advertising and Design, Boston, with responsibility for building the agency's marketing program. Earlier, she held account management and writing positions at Heller Breene's predecessor and at the New York marketing communications firm Gips+Balkind+Associates (later Frankfurt Balkind Partners). |
